Maximum Forgiveness With Effortless Launch

The Ping G740 Golf Irons combine exceptional distance, forgiveness and consistency, making them an ideal choice for golfers seeking the performance benefits of a super game-improvement iron.

A larger head profile featuring a wider sole, longer blade length and thicker topline maximises perimeter weighting while lowering the centre of gravity. This increases MOI for outstanding forgiveness, promotes a higher launch and helps retain ball speed on off-centre strikes for more consistent distance.

The wider dual-camber sole design positions the CG low and back to generate faster ball speeds and higher launch conditions. It also improves turf interaction, allowing the club to glide through the ground more easily for cleaner contact.A thinner, flexible face works alongside a shallower face height and shorter hosel to save weight and optimise mass placement within the cavity. The result is improved sound and feel, while maintaining a high MOI for added stability and confidence.

The set configuration includes 5-9 iron, pitching wedge, utility wedge, 50° and 56° wedges. Precision-milled grooves on all four wedges deliver enhanced control and consistency for improved short-game performance.
