It also features Flight Control Technology, allowing for adjustable loft angles which provides up to eight different settings that adjust the lie angle, face angle, and effective loft. With the ASP & FCT technology, club adjustments produce up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory change. Its new flat-white finish contrasts against the black face for improved alignment and reduces glare for improved optical acuity. The TaylorMade R11S TP fairway combines maximum distance and forgiveness with industry leading flight adjustability for a fairway wood you can always count on! How The R11S TP Fairway Works: The combination of ASP, FCT gives a golfer over 45 ways to set up the club head to promotes up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory adjustment, the most of any fairway in existence. Combining full FCT and ASP settings promotes a launch-condition range of 2° launch angle. The ASP sole plate provides two degrees of face angle change (neutral/square, 2° open and 2° closed). A player can create multiple lofts with the same face angle, or further accentuate a face angle or counter a negative face angle. Players who prefer a specific face angle setting can bias the weights to adjust trajectory independent of the ASP setting. For instance, a player may prefer an open face angle at address while also desiring a draw-bias performance. With the R11S fairway, the player can open the face using ASP and put the heavy weight in the heel, resulting in an open face but a draw-bias weighting.
