The JPX-800 Pro is a grain flow forged iron, just like Mizuno's better-player MP line, but it is also packed with forgiveness and distance-enhancing properties that all game-improvers are looking for. A CNC milled cavity and "under-cut forging" provide an extremely thin face for improved energy transfer and this delivers the highest coefficient of restitution (spring-like effect) than any other grain flow forged iron in Mizuno's history. This undercut cavity also increases stability and forgiveness while the triple cut sole - beveled trailing and leading edges and cambered mid sole - reduce the effective sole width for more shot-making capability. The JPX-800 Pro has replaced the MX-300 and MX-200 in Mizuno's line-up. It is more forgiving than both previous models while also coming in significantly smaller than the MX-200 and only marginally bigger than the MX-300.
