The Cleveland Launcher FL Fairway Wood offers increased headspeed and yardage through decreased weight. The club is around 30 grams lighter than most other fairway woods. This, along with the 43 gram Miyazaki C. Kue Ultralite shaft, create faster clubhead speed which equates to increased distance.

The Miyazaki shaft, standard on all Cleveland Launcher FL Fairway Woods, also debuts the 'International Flex code' technology that creates the degree of stiffness in 4 different areas of the shaft: butt stiffness, mid-butt stiffness, mid-tip stiffness and tip stiffness.

Featuring a hot and thin face and thin crown, the Cleveland FL Ultralite fairway wood produces faster ball speeds across the entire face. A lighter shaft and grip have been included in the design resulting in an amazing 30 grams weight reduction than the previous model for faster clubhead speeds, adding up to 10 yards of additional distance.
